Production:
Slex sheets are litho graphic, offset printed,
and then vacuum formed, using molds created by a talented team
of sculptors. Slex sheet thickness varies from 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and 0.8mm according to size, depth of relief and end use.
Artwork Requirements:
1. To
ensure quality production, we first review PDF files of your
artwork prior to receiving final film and specifications. If
the client prefers, we can produce the film. In this case, we
require a CD with all artwork files and specs provided. We are
also pleased to offer full concept, design and production services.
2. Film
- Films for offset print: 133 line screen, process positives(emulsion
side down, right-reading).
3. Progressive
Proofs: Red, Red-Blue & Final Match-Print.
4. For
Spot Glossy Varnish: Positive Film in emulsion side up, right-reading.
Note: Flat text and other flat illustrated
areas should be a minimum of 20mm to 40mm away from the nearest relief subject (depending
on the relief height of subject) and 20mm away from edge of finished
piece.
Additional Finishing:
We offer many different display concepts
such as easels for free standings with corrugated die-cuts or
ceiling hanging systems for danglers. We provide die cutting
to order; anti-scratch coating, glossy varnish, UV coating and
other silk screen special effects. All are available per client's
request and end use.
Specialized promotional pieces such as mirrors, thermometers,
calendars and clocks can be also incorporated into the finished
piece.
Factory Lead Time Within U.S.:
7 to 10 weeks
after films & color proofs are received. Lead time is according
to scale and complexity of order. For orders placed outside the
continental U.S. please allow an additional 1 to 2 weeks.
